I live in Melbourne, Australia. Throughout my youth I loved painting, drawing and music performance. However, these pursuits were largely put aside for a career in engineering.
For many years I worked in collaboration with architects and interior designers as the engineering director of Bates Smart (Australia’s oldest Architectural practice) and greatly enjoyed being part of this highly creative environment. In 1992 I became the founding director of one of Melbourne’s now leading consulting engineering practices.
Since retiring, I have returned to some of my youthful artistic passions. I now enthusiastically pursue photography.
